This is the book I decided to read after a long slump of not even reading words on streets signs. I picked this book because I wanted to read messy lesbians being extreme, I hate romance and I love reading about people being more miserable than me. I was interested in the first 10ish pages because I thought this book was going intending to discuss how dark humans can get when they are met with the same darkness from a similar-minded person and how it can lead them to become from mundane to self-destructive. Although I know these are very specific assumption that will surely leave me disappointed, if the book went a completely different plot of events, I might have liked it better than my first thoughts on the book. I found the book to be gruesome and predictably gross just to gain that shock factor a lot of media rely on, which annoys me since it ruins the opportunity to be a meaningful book that would be listed as an all-time favourite for a lot of people.
